We are in the Austin area… I got my dog right after Katrina hit. I was living in Mobile, AL at the time. Many people just put their dogs out in the streets when they evacuated (I cannot imagine doing something like that). He was running the streets when they found him. He is part rat terrier and maybe part beagle (he looks like a rat terrier but still with the puppy ears). Anyway, I’ve had him since then. He loves Texas and sometimes he gets a hankering to run the streets but he knows where he lives so he always comes home.
