Scott My husband Scott has just furnished me with a cup of coffee Coffee

and a Kashi bar (pumpkin spice flax) and gone into the closet (literally, but it’s big) to pray and read the Word.  I’m thankful I have such a considerate mate.

I’m really thankful he seeks God on his own – faithfully getting up early to seek the Lord for himself, for us, for those we love and minister to.  His life is peaceful even in the midst of stress.  He kisses me and then goes out the door grinning most mornings.

Here’s something – one morning we kissed good-bye and he left.  He returned moments later and kissed me again.  Memorably.  He said he was convicted by the Lord for giving me a peck and wanted to give me something to make me smile all day.  Lord love this man!
How blessed am I?

Wisdom is like a friend who visits without knocking.
Or like the smell of good coffee before you sip it.
Today I am trying to learn something about myself – why I hate filing. I tell people that paperwork mates and has babies at night after I turn off the computer and leave my office.
But in reality, it’s just I hate filing.
Now with a new office arrangement staring me in the face – I am forced to find homes for the piles in front of me. Lord help this sluggard.
